Top Female Founder Communities in Canada 2025
I’m an only-child, lone wolf kinda gal. But, after being a solopreneur for a few years, I wanted to connect with other women entrepreneurs who ‘got it’.
Community has been the reason why I’ve been able to shift out of a 20-year PR career and into my first product-based business in just six months. Real relationships have been what has driven this business so far and my plan is to keep going deeper creating connections in female founder groups.

Beyond creating priceless relationships, showing up in these communities for entrepreneurial women has also created a tangible ROI for my business. Through referrals, direct purchases, and visibility opportunities, these memberships have created a positive impact on my bank account.
All of these groups have an associated membership fee, and host both virtual and in-person opportunities for women entrepreneurs to connect. They are not ranked in any specific order.
I'll also note whether the community is the best fit for entrepreneurs who are new, growing, at the seven-figure stage, or exit-ready.
Instead of building your business alone, here’s a list of the top communities for female founders in Canada, where you can meet your new business besties and grow together.
1. Work Wives
The Work Wives community is exclusively Canadian 🍁 and where you can go to find your entrepreneurial soulmates. I’ve been a part of the community, founded by Monica Boudreau, for a year now, and no matter where across the country I attend a female founder conference of sorts, a few Work Wives are bound to be there.

The community hosts 3-4 virtual calls each month, with my favourites being:
- Book Club (thank you for introducing me to Activate Your Life and The Mountain is You!)
- Networking Power Hour featuring 1:1 Zoom breakout rooms to build deep connections
- the monthly Speaker Series with guests sharing their experiences and expertise.
IRL Member Meetups are rolling out across Canada with networking brunches in chic, intimate settings.

2. Elleiance
It only took one call with the Elleiance Network during their enrollment week before I signed up for their Networking membership tier. I could immediately see the value of being a part of this group.

Founded in Thunder Bay, Ontario, by Erin Sisko, this community is billed as Canada’s only business mastermind network for women entrepreneurs.
There are two tiers of membership:
- The Networker (this one’s me!) which is great for relationship building
- The Masterminder which uplevels your membership to include curated groups for deeper learning.
Something super special about the Elleiance Network is that Erin has created the Capital Elle Business Impact Award which offers $50,000 in cash and business-critical services to 10 Canadian women entrepreneurs building something powerful.
In two years she’s grown from partnering with nine organizations to now having almost 30 award partners - this is only going to keep growing!
The community is growing with local chapters popping up across Canada with locations currently in Dartmouth, NS, Medicine Hat, AB, and Thunder Bay, ON.
Virtually, there are around four or five calls a month plus weekly coworking sessions:
- Girl Business (open to non-members!) is what sold me, designed as a one-off mastermind for women working on big projects
- This Girls Got Knowledge, their signature workshop series where industry experts share actionable strategies to help you grow, lead, and scale with confidence
- The Podcast Club, the book club for people who don't have time to read books
- The Boss Meeting, where you get real-time support from the right people and leveraging the network to create momentum, and
- The Billionaire Book Boss, a book club designed for action-takers and implementors
Doors open and close to join the community so you may have to wait before being able to get access.

3. The Entreprenista League
Anyone who knows me as an entrepreneur knows that The Entreprenista League is my home. I joined in January 2024 and will always swear that it was the best business (maybe even life) decision that I made that year.
Again, after just one call I was IN. It is NOT hype that this community will give you access to ALL of the resources you need to grow at every stage of business. (I don’t mean to keep screaming, but catch the enthusiasm!)

The Entreprenista League has 2,500 members and is US-based, but the Canadian contingent is strong. Different from every other group on the list, they offer a lifetime membership (yay to no recurring fees!) with access to top-tier resources, media opportunities and a community that will support you while you grow your business.
I have had the privilege of being personally coached by women I’ve looked up to for years in this community - Lori Harder, Jessica Zweig, Nancy Twine, Adrianna Carig - you just can’t get easy access to these women.
While I made the transition from service to product, more than TWENTY women generously hopped on 30-minute calls with me to save me time and learning tax on Meta ads, marketing ideas, branding brainstorms, revenue planning, crowdfunding campaigns…the list goes on and on. That kind of consulting would have otherwise cost tens of thousands of dollars.
Plus, community co-founder Stephanie Cartin really means it when she says she’s your biggest cheerleader. She amplifies what I’m working on over here at Pearl Spark Pages, texts to see how things are going, and is always connecting me with the people I need to know.
There are at least eight virtual calls every month like:
- Member Connect Networking (I will absolutely rearrange my calendar to hit this call every time!) where there are Zoom breakout rooms with four or five other members to connect in a smaller setting
- Feedback Friday where you can get peer and expert feedback on your graphics, copy, sales page, offer, etc.
- Office Hours with the co-founders or other industry experts who've successfully scaled and sold their businesses
- Focus Friday Coworking with lofi beats for dedicated heads down time, motivation, and accountability
For IRL connections, members can host local meetups in their cities, and every other year Entreprenista hosts the legendary Founders Weekend which I am screaming for in 2026.
Their Startup in Stilettos podcast exclusively highlights community members and their E100 Awards creates an opportunity to honour ambitious women business owners who want to be recognized for their excellence, impact and innovation.
Truly, this is just scratching the surface on the amazingness of this group. I could do an entire blog dedicated to this community, and maybe at some point I will!

4. Happy Healthy Women
Something that I love about the Happy Healthy Women community is that they’re a wellness-minded community first for women in business. Feeling your best while taking life and business to the next level is a core value for the group.
Natalie Colalillo has created a space where women can network, grow and scale their business, and access speaking and leadership opportunities while incorporating self-care and me time.
There are four membership tiers to explore and you can check out their Wellpreneur Club tier with a 30-day free trial.

Their vault is packed with business, mindset and personal care trainings and the collective is a space for personal and professional growth, authentic connection, and aligned clients.
A fun perk of the group is that subscribed Canadian members can opt into the group’s health benefits plan, which is an entrepreneur’s healthcare dream.
I’ve only been a part of the group for a few weeks and have had a lot of important business lessons reinforced that I can put into action right away.
There are as many as eight events on the calendar every week - a mix of virtual and live events across different pockets of the Greater Toronto Area and beyond.

5. Bloom Business Collective
While I’m not yet a member of the Bloom Business Collective (formerly Vancity Babes), it’s absolutely on my radar. Someone I know attended their Dream Big Conference earlier in the year and she gave me the heads up to check this group out.
Then, back in June I attended their online launch party and am still in connection with women I met during that two-hour call!
Danielle Wiebe created the community more than 10 years ago, helping women business owners connect with each other beyond the surface, collaborate, and share both dreams and struggles.

You can join The Bloom Collective, their signature membership program helping you to grow past $100K through collaboration with community, hot-seat coaching, group mastermind sessions, accountability challenges and strategy.
In-person, they have Vancouver-based quarterly mastermind meetups, their annual Dream Big Conference and this summer are hosting a summer re-brand celebration.

6. Be Uninterrupted
Be Uninterrupted brings together not only female founders, but powerful women including executive leaders and from the C-suite. It’s the go-to advisory network for ambitious women through life’s highs and lows.

As life lifes, Be Uninterrupted provides professional women with a support system that helps them navigate or avoid career interruptions with actionable and proven advice.
In the community, there’s actionable advice for more than 150 personal or professional interruptions that could impact our ability to do our best work.
Co-founder Suzanne Knight was kind enough to invite me to explore the group, and online, the community hosts educational webinars with experts and executives, action plans, access to 1:1 meetings and its referral network.
In person, the organization hosts its annual Uninterrupted Summit with more than 400 women during the fall in Toronto, along with fun events throughout the year like golf clinics.

7. Erapreneur
Anyone who’s met Leslie Gottlieb, the founder of Erapreneur, knows that she’s a female founder’s biggest hype girl.
You’ll also see Leslie at Toronto female founder conferences, summits and events, and now she’s launched her own community, Erapreneur, a fun-first community for female founders ready to level up.

This brand new community promises play, joy and fulfillment for women entrepreneurs ready for their best era yet, and their Toronto-based programming reflects that.
We’re talking:
- Horseback riding
- Chef-working
- Petworking in the Park
- Biz Blind Dates
- and weekly Brews and Besties
Of course, online connection is an option too with expert talks, educational workshops, resources and uniquely, an online comedy space for laughter on demand!

8. Start With Community
If you’ve found yourself at a Toronto women entrepreneurship event, there’s a chance you may have seen Hannah Schwartz onstage as the emcee.
As the founder of Start with Hannah and the membership Start with Community, she’s created a membership for early-stage entrepreneurs building scalable businesses.

With the tagline ‘business is who you know, and we know everyone,’ Start with Community fills your calendar with city-based events, networking opportunities, coworking sessions and expert talks.
Hannah’s annual Champagne & Lipstick event brings Toronto’s entrepreneurial community to connect, network, and spark conversations.

9. Run the World - The Pink Pages
If you’ve been to a Run the World event, you know that the team’s attention to detail is chef’s KISS 👌. I went to my first Run the World Summit earlier this year and their events are not to be missed.
Keep the energy going inside of their signature member experience, The Pink Pages, for connection and community-building.

Members of The Pink Pages get first access to Run the World vendor opportunities, and monthly virtual mentorship sessions with top female leaders, and then virtual coffee chat meetings every other month.
Outside of the Summit and The Pink Pages Community, Run the World hosts retreats, smaller in-person masterclasses and pop up markets at Scarborough Town Centre, Square One and Upper Canada Mall, highlighting women-owned brands.

10. Dream Money
Dream Money is another US-based community sneaking onto the list, but I met founder Megan Hale in Kelowna, BC, so that’s got to count for something!
Unlike any other groups on this list, Dream Money is actually a strategic business planning software for entrepreneurs - I’ve been using it for about a month now and it helps you map out sustainable revenue plans and expertly manage cash flow.
The reason I’m including it in this list though is because as a software user, you get access to monthly community calls and workshops and access to the full vault of training replays.
With money being such a vulnerable topic, I’d say this community has super intimate connection because we’re talking about our real business numbers and diving into spreadsheets during coaching calls.
Thanks to my first few times using the software, I’ve been able to calculate meaningful and profitable revenue goals, identify my good-better-best financial targets and really figure out if my price points are sustainable.
And yes, all your numbers can be listed in CAD, no needing to use USD here.
Beyond the spreadsheets and software, Megan creates in-person experiences with her Dream Bigger Summit (different from Bloom Business Collective’s Dream Bigger Conference) with the theme of ‘Go Bigger, Get Bolder’, but you’ll have to go south of the border to Omaha, Nebraska for this one.

Which One(s) Will You Join?
When I jumped into my first community last year, The Entreprenista League, I decided to go narrow and deep. Now that I've got a better footing and sense of how to connect with various communities, I'm an active member of five of these groups. A far stretch from early January 2024 Lisa who was going it alone!
